Something for Kate (her wedding makeup)

...did ya see what I did with the title there? Do you know the band Something For Kate? I've never listened to them but I thought I would shamelessly use their name anyway to make this post sound catchy.

Anywho.

In February this year, I had the honour of creating Kate's bridal makeup look with her, and then doing her makeup on her special day. I get such a kick out of making people feel good about themselves, so to make Kate look (and more importantly, feel) like a million bucks on her wedding day was an absolute high for me (it wasn't that hard, admittedly, but it was a LOT of fun!). She wanted something classic, timeless, a little glowy, a little smouldering and a little bit romantic - and I think we achieved it. She looked SO. SO. STUNNING. 

I also gave the MOB a little glam and styled the bridesmaids with some warm eyes, a neutral to pink lip, and lashes to boot. Can we talk about how amazing they look in THOSE Shona Joy DRESSES?! The wedding is long past but I still cannot get over how gorgeous they are. Right up there in the category of 'best bridesmaid dresses I've ever seen'.
